You can pick up the Certificate during normal business hours in the Parish Office, or it can be mailed to your residents or the church that needs the certificate.

Baptism:

To baptize an infant, parents must be practicing Roman Catholics registered at St. Ephrem. Baptisms are celebrated during the Sunday Mass.

  1. Parents should call to arrange an interview with the Pastor or Deacon.
  2. Godparents must be at least sixteen and be baptized, confirmed Catholics registered in a specific parish. A practicing Christian of another denomination may officially witness the baptism together with a Catholic godparent.
  3. Parents attend a baptism preparation session. (The date of baptism is confirmed only after this session.)
  4. The baby is formally enrolled for baptism at a Sunday mass a week or so before the actual Baptism.
  5. A Rehearsal takes place before the Baptism.
